Haltermann Solutions™ New Industry Deposit Forming Fuels Now Available

 

Haltermann Solutions™ is pleased to announce the availability of three new industry deposit-forming gasolines.  Each of these fuels has been meticulously engineered to accomplish a particular deposit forming characteristic.  These industry fuels have been produced in larger batch sizes to lessen batch-to-batch variability.  Engine testing of these fuels is currently underway.

 

Industry Deposit 65th % Surrogate Fuel – Product Code HF2061

Industry Deposit 65th % Surrogate Fuel is a high sulfur, E0 Gasoline meeting 65th Percentile Fuel specifications. The product development code for this fuel was TR2376.

The fuel has been developed with a goal and anticipation that it will produce between 300 mg and 500 mg of IVD when run in an ASTM D5500 BMW test.  Bulk quantities of this fuel are currently in inventory.

 

Industry Direct Injector Fouling Fuel – Product Code HF2074

Industry Direct Injector Fouling Fuel is a high sulfur, E0 Gasoline that is made to Haltermann Solutions™ specifications.  The product development code for this fuel was TR2377.

The fuel has been developed with a goal and anticipation that it will produce > 20% LTFT in the SIDI LHU Injector Plugging Dyno Test.   Bulk quantities of this fuel is currently are inventory.

 

Industry Top Tier PFI Deposit Forming Fuel – Product Code HF2075

Industry Top Tier PFI Deposit Forming Fuel is an E10 Gasoline as specified by the Top Tier Consortium.  The product development code for this fuel was TR2375.

The fuel has been developed with a goal and anticipation that it will produce > 500 mg of deposits per valve when run in an ASTM D6201 Ford 2.3 liter test.  Based on inquiries, an initial bulk batch of this fuel was produced.  Due to demand, an additional bulk batch will be produced in the near future.

 

Certificates of Analysis are available for each of the three fuels upon request.
